The Siege of Mainz may refer to:

952 Liudolf rising: Otto I besieged Liudolf and Conrad in Mainz for 2 months
25 - 27 May 1096 Emicho and his followers reached Mainz during the German Crusade to persecute the Jewish population there but was refused entry by bishop Ruthard of Mainz. After a two day siege his followers broke into the city and massacred the population.^[1]
17 - 22 December 1631: During the Thirty Years' War the city was besieged and captured by Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden
1 June - 8 September 1689: Siege of Mainz under Jacques Henri de Durfort de Duras during the Nine Years' War
19 - 21 October 1792: Capture of Mainz by the French Revolutionary Armies under Custine.
10 April - 23 July 1793: Siege of Mainz (1793) by the armies of the First Coalition, recapture by the French and major destruction to the city architecture.
