Shmustar, also spelled Shmistar (Arabic: شمسطار) is a Lebanese town located between Baalbeck and Zahleh at .It is part of the Bekaa province in eastern Lebanon. From 1955 until 1995, the former speaker of the parliament Hussein el-Husseini was the mayor of Shmistar.
