Shin-bang has been variously attributed to the improperly fitting ski boots, poor ski stance, or aggressive skiing.
There are many purported remedies for shin-bang, however there does not seem to be a consensus in the skiing community as to the most effective cure. Specially designed or fitted ski boots are commonly recommended.
