Shelvin Mack (born April 22, 1990[1]) is an American professional basketball point guard with the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association.
In 2011, Mack help lead the Butler Bulldogs to the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship game. He declared for the 2011 NBA Draft following his junior year.
Mack was selected with the 34th pick overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards.
In Mack's 3 years at Butler University he played as the point guard in a total of 108 games. Butler made two apperances in the national title game, but lost them both. In the first of his national title game appearances the team lost to Duke. Mack had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. In his other appearance in the game, as loss to Connecticut, he had 13 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block. During his tenure with Butler he averaged a solid 14.1 ppg (points per game).
