Shazzie
Shazzie (also known as Sharon Holdstock,[1] born 23 January 1969) is an author and advocate of raw veganism and raw foodism.[2] Shazzie has written five books and is the Managing Director of Rawcreation Ltd.
Career
Shazzie hosts and presents her own raw food "cookery" television show, on Sky's Active Channel, 281.
Shazzie was a corporate identity manager for a software company until June 2000. On June 18th 2000, she founded Rawcreation Ltd. In 2001, she moved to Spain to write her second book, Detox Your World, while still working as a brand designer. She moved back to the UK in 2003 and changed Rawcreation Ltd into the company it is today.[1] It is now known online as "Detox Your World".
She has written about the subject of raising children on various diets, including meat, vegetarian, vegan and raw food diets, in her book Evie’s Kitchen (2008). Her book Naked Chocolate (2005, co-authored with David Wolfe) advocates the use of raw chocolate.
Shazzie is also known for blogging, which she has done in several forms since 2000.

- In 2010 Shazzie was interviewed by Hay House Radio in the USA.
- In 2009 Shazzie was an invited guest on the Raw Mom Summit[3] alongside authors Byron Katie and Jean Liedloff.
- In 2008, Shazzie launched the Make Raw Food Mainstream campaign[4] aiming to get raw food onto the menus of restaurants and cafes.
- In November 2008, Shazzie was invited to be an expert on the Opposing Views website & took place in a discussion entitled Is Raw Food Good For You? with Alex Malinsky.
- In 2007, Shazzie was one of twelve health and living food experts who participated in the USA-based Raw Food Summit providing free worldwide telecalls. Over 12,000 people worldwide signed up for this event.

Personal life
Shazzie was born in Yorkshire. She became a raw vegan in 2000.[1] Shazzie raised her daughter Evie on a raw vegan plus breastmilk diet to the age of four.[11][12] Evie, who was born in 2004, is unvaccinated. They live in East Sussex, UK.
