"Shandeh" is a second season episode of the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
In this episode, Detectives Goren and Eames discover that the underpinning of the contract murder of a woman about to leave her husband was not his infidelity, but a secret agreement made with her mother-in-law, sealed by a substantial payoff, to raise her children in their father's faith.
While investigating the murder, Goren and Eames focus their suspicion on the stripper/girlfriend of the philandering husband, who not only had motive to arrange a hit, but also possesses a key piece of evidence.
Nevertheless, the investigators cannot connect all of the dots in the case and have it make sense until they find the hired killer, a suspect with large hands, who left an imprint on the victim's neck.
