Sembalur is a village in the Pattukkottai taluk of Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India.
from Pattukkottai to Sembalur 8 km, its located pkt to Mannargudi via Vadeseri road many buses on this road included Government bus and Privet bus As per the 2001 census, Sembalur had a total population of 1251 with 633 males and 618 females. The sex ratio was 976. The literacy rate was 57.37.
