The Seibu Haijima Line (西武拝島線 Seibu Haijima-sen?) is a railway line in Tokyo, Japan. The operator is Seibu Railway. It acts as a branch line of the Seibu Shinjuku Line providing direct trains to Seibu-Shinjuku Station.

History

2.11.1928: Opened from Hagiyama to Hon-Kodaira (near Kodaira) by Tamako railway.
15.8.1932: Electrified (600V D.C.) from Hagiyama to Hon-Kodaira.
12.3.1940: Integrated with Tamako Railway and Musashino Railway (The old name of Seibu Railway).
15.11.1949: Integrated with Hon-Kodaira station and Kodaira station. Hon-kodaira station closed.
15.5.1950: Josui Line opened from Ogawa to Tamagawajosui. Omebashi and Tamagawajosui stations opened.
12.10.1954: Electrified (1500V D.C.) from Ogawa to Tamagawajosui.
18.3.1955: Boosted to 1500V D.C. from Kodaira to Hagiyama.
1.9.1962: Josui Line opened from Hagiyama to Ogawa. Renamed to Josui Line from Kodaira to Hagiyama.
7.11.1967: Became to double track from Kodaira to Hagiyama.
15.5.1968: Haijima Line opened from Tamagawajosui to Haijima, Seibu Tachikawa station opened. Josui Line renamed to Haijima Line.
25.3.1979: Omebashi Station renamed to Higashiyamatoshi station.
7.12.1979: Became to double track from Hagiyama to Ogawa.
