Sean Michaels is a Canadian journalist, fiction writer, and blogger. Based in Montreal, Quebec, his writing has appeared in such publications as McSweeney's, The Believer, Pitchfork, The Guardian, Brick, Maisonneuve and The National Post. Michaels is also one of the founders of Said the Gramophone. Launched in 2003, it was one of the Internet's first mp3 blogs that allowed users to listen to and download songs.[1] Said the Gramophone was listed in Time Magazine's "25 Best Blogs of 2009." Michaels also contributes to an art blog called Inside the Frozen Mammoth.
