Scot Coogan (b. 23 April 1971, Medway, Massachusetts) is an American session musician and touring drummer.

Career

Coogan has worked with groups such as Violets Demise, Ednaswap, Parade of Losers, Annetenna, Sinéad O'Connor, Peter Yorn, Vanilla Ice, and Otep. He is best known for being a member of Brides of Destruction, a heavy metal band consisting of Tracii Guns, Nikki Sixx, and London LeGrand.[1] He sings and plays guitar beside his drumming. He has also played with Stephen Pearcy in the band Rat Bastards. Scot also plays in a Beatles/Led Zeppelin cover band (Six Foot Nurse); as of December 2007 Coogan is playing drums in Ace Frehley's touring band. In December 2008 he toured Australia as the drummer for Lynch Mob. He also played drums on the 2009 Lynch Mob release Smoke and Mirrors.

Personal life

Coogan was born in Needham, Massachusetts and is the youngest of four children. He is married and has one son.
