Scolomys is a genus of rodent in the tribe Oryzomyini of family Cricetidae. Some evidence suggests that it is related to Zygodontomys. It is characterized, among other traits, by spiny fur. It contains two species, Scolomys melanops and Scolomys ucayalensis.
