The goal of the game is to murder students, teachers, and staff. In the end, the player is forced to commit suicide before being captured by law enforcement officers. The weapons are modeled after the ones used by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold and Seung-Hui Cho. A 'Survival' gameplay mode has been described as similar to the controversial video game Grand Theft Auto 3.[1]
The game was cited in the majority opinion in the Supreme Court case Brown v. Entertainment Merchants.[2]
The game has drawn criticism by parents and educators for its premise and is often compared to the school shootings in Columbine High School and Virginia Tech.[3] Video game watchdog Jack Thompson called for the game to be shut down.[4] It has been described as "morally reprehensible" and "dangerous for the game industry as a whole."[1] Since then, the downloadable game was pulled from Moddb.[5] The game will be released on its official website, whenever it is completed.
