Scampton is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. Included in the parish is RAF Scampton. It is 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Lincoln just off the A15. The small village is west of the RAF station, accessed from the A1500.
The Dambusters Inn at 23 High Street contains a heritage centre full of RAF and World War II memorabilia as well as food and drink.
The church of St. John the Baptist is mainly 18th century with parts from the 17th century. In its churchyard are buried many of the war dead, both British and German.
Nearby is the Church of England primary school which dates from 1870.
