Saveology Daily Deals is a deal-of-the-day website based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida that features discounts, coupons, gift certificates, and gift cards that subscribed members can use at local and national companies.[1] The website is an off-shoot of Saveology Home Services Company, a comparison shopping site focused on cable and satellite television, Internet, telecommunications and home security systems.[2] Participating businesses typically offer discounts from 50% to 90% on services and products, including entertainment, travel, and leisure activities.[2]
The Saveology Daily Deals website was launched on June 1, 2011.[3] At the time of the website's launch, 4 million email addresses had opted-in to receive Saveology's daily offers.[1] Businesses and consumers sign-up to use the website to provide discounted products and services and receive access to those offers, respectively. Saveology employs a range of programs to engage merchants and consumers.[4]According to Fast Company, Saveology's early partners have included national brands that have not traditionally partnered with daily deal sites, due in part to Saveology’s quick payouts compared with its competitors.[5] It is a competitor of Groupon and LivingSocial.
