Brahmapura

In Hinduism, Brahmapura is the holy city of Brahma, one of the three primary deities. It is located on Mt. Meru. It is also referred to as Brahmaloka or Satyaloka.

Two kinds of Brahmaloka

There are two kinds of Brahmaloka - first are Vaikunthaloka (Brahmalokaḥ — the spiritual planets) - eternal planets, and second being the Brahmaloka, the abode of Brahma, also called Satyaloka. The former are eternal, and the latter are temporary. So, sometimes Satyaloka, the planet in which Brahmā resides, is also called Brahmaloka. This Brahmaloka is eternal, whereas the Satyaloka planetary system is not eternal.

According to Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī, this Brahmaloka is the loka or abode of Brahman, or the Supreme Lord. Planets in spiritual Brahmaloka, due to being spiritual, are never annihilated. Because of a poor fund of knowledge, less intelligent persons sometimes mistake the conditions of the shadow world to be equivalent to those of the spiritual world, and thus they mistake the Lord and His pastimes in the material world to be one with the conditioned souls and their activities. So one should not make mistake to think abode of Brahma is eternal abode. Brahma is also a servant of Vishnu, Supreme Godhead (Bhagavan). Eternal Brahmaloka is abode of Brahman, Supreme Godhead, and that is also called Vaikuṇṭha, the kingdom of God, which is sanātana, or eternal, and is therefore not exactly like the material creations. So one who is attached to material planetary systems which are situated on 'imaginary form' of Supreme Godhead is wasting time.

The real Brahmaloka is in spiritual world.
