Sarmayeh (in Persian: سرمایه) is a daily newspaper published in Iran.[1] Sarmayeh is considered to be an advocate of free markets. This newspaper does not have any formal affiliation with the government of Iran. This newspaper publishes articles against Ahmadinejad economics policies. Its main competitor is Donya-e-Eqtesad newspaper. On November 2, 2009, Iran banned Sarmayeh.[2]
