Sarah Travers

Sarah Travers (born 1974[1][2]) is a Northern Irish journalist. She currently works as a reporter and presenter on BBC Newsline.[3]

Broadcasting career

Travers began her broadcasting career while studying at Nottingham Trent University, working at BBC Radio Nottingham and Central News.[4]

She joined the BBC at BBC Radio Foyle in 1995[5] as a freelance reporter and news bulletin presenter [6] and moved to the BBC newsroom in Belfast in 1997.[7]

Personal life

Travers attended Dominican College, Portstewart and studied Broadcast Journalism at Nottingham Trent University.[8]

She lives in Portstewart with her husband, journalist and writer Stephen Price, and two children.[9]
