Santhe Saraguru which is now also called as saraguru or saragur or sargur a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.Locally there are two historical story behind the name to this village one,is from the river kabini,it runs as chain around this village.since in kannada chain means "sara" + "uru" means village in kannada leads to "saraguru".then regaring "santhe" in kannada or karnataka there will be a market held weekly once called "santhe",hence the name santhe saraguru.other than that in surrounding taluks there are some villages with the same name "saraguru" such as "J.B.Saraguru" so to avoid confusions the "santhe" word has got joined to "saraguru".And another background is from kannada word"saraku gala uru"= "saraguru",saraku in kannad called goods/things since from lot before this place has been an provisinal business center, hence the name "saraguru". means [1][2] It is located in the Heggadadevankote taluk of Mysore district in Karnataka.
