San Jose Jazz Festival

The San José Jazz Festival is an annual jazz festival organized by the San Jose Jazz Society and held in downtown San Jose, California, USA. The festival was established in 1990,[1] and is mainly outdoors.

The festival began charging fees in 2006. The admission this year was $5 per day. Parking ranges from free to $7. They advertise over 80 performances on 10 stages normally. It is noted for excellent and diverse food stands. The main stage is in Plaza de Cesar Chavez with others nearby.

History

The inaugural edition in 1990 was a one day event with one stage.[2]
