San Francisco Chinese Hospital is a hospital in San Francisco and the only Chinese hospital in the United States.[1] The hospital is located in San Francisco's Chinatown.

Founded in 1925 to replace the Tung Wah Dispensary (opened in 1899 with ties to the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in Hong Kong), it primarily deals with the elderly, poor and immigrants from China in the San Francisco area and an alternative to San Francisco General Hospital for patients with a language barrier.[1]

The current building houses 54 beds and opened in 1979 and replaced the original building from 1925 next door.

Actor Bruce Lee was born at this Chinese Hospital.
