Samuel Brassington

Samuel John Brassington (6 May 1901 – 4 October 1950) was an Australian politician. He was a Labor member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly, serving as the member for Balonne from 1927 to 1932 and for Fortitude Valley from 1933 to 1950. He served as Speaker of the Queensland Legislative Assembly from 1944 to 1950.[1]

Brassington died in 1950 and was buried in Toowong Cemetery[2].
