Sam Chelladurai (Tamil: சாம் செல்லதுரை) is the Senior Pastor of the Apostolic Fellowship Tabernacle (more commonly known by its initials, AFT), a megachurch in Chennai, India.[1] He is best known for his successful Television programs which are essentially televised church services that predominantly feature his sermons. His Tamil Program, Vettriyum Vaazhvum (Victory and Life) which airs on DD Podhigai (Doordarshan Network's Tamil-language regional channel) is widely viewed by Tamil audiences all over India.[2] His English Program, "God is Good" airs on "The GOD Channel"[3] (an international Christian channel) and is also popular.[4]In addition to being televised, all his church services are also "webcast" live on his website, www.revsam.org.[5] His other ministries include a Bible College (Full Gospel Bible Institute), an Evangelistic Outreach Program (Campaign India), a Monthly Magazine in Tamil (Vettriyum Vaazhvum) and Teaching Seminars throughout South India.[6]

Overview
We believe that the Word of God goes forth and always does what it has been sent to do and that is - 'transform lives'. So there are many ministerial activities that are centered around the teaching of the Word that happens at church. All these ministries are growing rapidly day by day and thereby touching more and more people.
The various ministries that have been envisioned by Rev. Sam P. Chelladurai include:
India Harvest Plan: An evangelical initiative which has so far held 186 gospel meetings covering around 70,000 villages in India, taking the Gospel of peace, prosperity, deliverance and healing to more than 10 million people. This plan has also planted 125 churches in India. Through this plan, churches have been established in every village where the Gospel meetings have been held and these churches in turn have established branch churches in nearby villages, thus multiplying the efforts and the spreading of the good news. The Full Gospel Bible Institute: A full-fledged bible college, founded by Rev. Dr. P. S. Chelladurai (the father of Pastor Sam) in the year 1969, which educates more than 120 full time students every year. The institute is now under the leadership of Rev. Sam P. Chelladurai. Children's ministry: Sunday school is held simultaneously during the church services.
