Salt Creek Falls is a waterfall on Salt Creek, a tributary of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River, located near Oakridge, Oregon in the Willamette National Forest. It is about 286 feet (87 m) tall and is the second highest waterfall in Oregon.[1]
Salt Creek Falls is easily accessible by car all year round. From Interstate 5, take Oregon Route 58. The day use area is about 21 miles (34 km) east of Oakridge, and about 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Willamette Pass. The state parks service charges a $5 day use fee, but people with a Northwest Forest Pass may park there without the extra fee.[2] There is a viewing platform near the top of the falls, as well as a hiking path down to the bottom.
