Salobreña (pronounced: [saloˈβɾeɲa]) is a town on the Costa Tropical in Granada, Spain. It claims a history stretching back 6000 years.

The old town of is a cluster of whitewashed houses and steep narrow streets set around a 10th century Moorish castle. The town sits atop a rocky prominence surrounded by sugar cane fields. New developments spread from the foot of the rock to the coast.

The last remaining cane sugar factory in Europe is located along the coast just west of the village of La Caleta.
