Sageika
Sageika, rarely Sagaiika (Greek: Σαγέικα, formerly: Σάγαιικα) is a village in western Achaea in the northcentral part of the municipality of Movri. Its population is about 200. The nearby communities and villages are Bonteika to the west, Rachi and Apostoli to the east, and Krinos to the south. It lies presently partially north of the main highway, used to run through until the 1980s. Distance is 31 km SW of Patras and 65 km (old distance: 69 km) N of Pyrgos.
Sageika was the seat of the municipality of Movri, named for is mountain range south of the village. The municipality was created under the Capodistrian Constitution in 1998. The municipal population is 5,106, the area is 86.48 km² and the density is 59.4/km².

Sporting clubs
The first team in Sageika was 'Olympiakos Sageika which was founded in 1927 and dissolved in 1968 where Ethnikos Sageika was founded and entered the prefectural fourth division three times. The team plays in its village soccer field in which is dry.
