Sagapool is a world music band from Montreal, Quebec. Formed in 1999, the band used to be called Manouche until 2008.

Sagapool was created in 1999 at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal. The band plays often in the province of Quebec: it has played many times at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, and at the Rimouski International FestiJazz, at the Festival de la Chanson de Tadoussac, and in many different places across Quebec. The band also played Ontario, in France and in the U.S.A, for the Blissfest in Michigan.
The musical influences of the band go from klezmer, gypsy and manouche to ska, folk, latin and jazz. Although inspired by some traditional songs, the band’s music is all original material and leaves a lot of room for improvisation.
