Saehan

Saehan (Korean: 새한) is a South Korean corporation established in the beginning of the 1970s. It is now mostly based on textile production. The Saehan Automobile division later became Daewoo Motors. SaeHan Information Systems, now Saehan Media, made the world's first mass-produced hardware MP3 player - the MPMan.[1]

Under the name Saehan Motor, Saehan built the Saehan Max, a small 2-seat pickup with the Opel Kadett-front, under license from Opel. The car was identical to the Kadett, sharing the doors, hood, lights, interior, etc. However, the cabin was very short, and the seats could not be adjusted very much back. The car's front part was shorter than the actual Kadett, making it very tight for larger people. The Saehan Max is now a part of Korean automobile history.
