SSN-791 will be a Virginia-class submarine. The contract to build her was awarded to Electric Boat division of General Dynamics in Groton, Connecticut on December 22, 2008. This ship is the eighth and final ship of the Block III subs which will feature a revised bow, including some technology from Ohio-class SSGNs.[3]
