Stade Olympique de l'Emyrne Antananarivo is the football section of a Malagasy sports club based in Antananarivo, Madagascar. They won the THB Champions League in 2001 and were runners-up in the Coupe de Madagascar in 2003.
SOE's 2006 results were forfeited after the team scored 149 own goals in a match against AS Adema (see AS Adema 149–0 SO l'Emyrne) in protest of a refereeing decision.
SOE remained in the history books for all the wrong reasons, shown in the Guinness world records as the biggest scoreline ever, after they were thumped 149–0 by the champions AS Adema. They repeatedly were hitting the ball towards their own goal in a protest of an earlier referring decision we sparked an argument between coach and referee. The previous record was when Australia 31–0 American Samoa in a World Cup qualifying match. [1]
