Statkraft Norfund Power Invest AS or SN Power is a Norwegian power company with investments in hydroelectricity in Chile, India, Nepal, Peru, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Total mean average output from the 14 power stations is 3,343 GWh, with additional five projects with 5,793 GWh under construction. The company is a joint venture between Statkraft and Norfund, both owned by the Government of Norway.
On 20 January 2010, the company opened its first wind farm, Totoral Wind Farm, in the Coquimbo Region, 300 kilometres (190 mi) north of Santiago de Chile. The 46 megawatt wind farm consist of 23 Vestas V90-2 MW wind turbines and is expected to deliver 100–110 GWh per year.[1]
Projects in Africa are handled by a subsidiary, Agua Imara AS, also owned by two regional Norwegian power companies.
