SMRT Service 307 is Choa Chu Kang's one and only intra-town service that was started by SBS and was handed over to TIBS (now SMRT) in 1999.
Contents |
This service was formed from the merger of Services 301 and 303 in 1997. The operator of the service was handed over to the now-defunct Trans-Island Bus Services (Presently SMRT Buses) in 1999 from the Singapore Bus Service (Presently SBS Transit)
In 2001, Service 307 was converted to a feeder bus service from Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange to Choa Chu Kang Street 62. In 2002, it was reverted back to an Intratown service (Known as a TownLink service in SBS Transit), Service 307 was amended to serve Teck Whye Lane before plying Choa Chu Kang Street 62.
On that very same year, the service route was modified back to the original route when it was introduced, from Choa Chu Kang Street 62 first before Teck Whye Avenue.
