Ry-Krisp is a brand of rye crisp bread introduced in 1899.[1]. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Ry-Krisp plant was purchased by Ralston Purina in 1926.[2]. In 1994, The Ralston portion of Ralston Purina was spun off into a new company called Ralcorp Holdings with the Ry-Krisp operations included. Today, Ry-Krisp is still based in Minneapolis and is a unit of Ralcorp's Bremner Food Group subsidiary. There are six varieties of Ry-Krisp currently available.
