Rummanah (Arabic: رمّانه‎) is a Palestinian village located 17 kilometers (11 mi) northwest of the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the town had a population of 3,372 inhabitants in mid-year 2006.[1]

Even the meaning of Rummanah word in Arabic is pomegranate (fruit or tree), Rummanah's name originated from the word Roman, referring to a Roman settlement which was built at Rummanah's location. Many historical signs are still there witnessing the Roman civilization and presence, namely, oil and wine mills and very old (2000 years and more) olive trees called Roman Olives by locals. However, some do provide evidence that the first established town in the location of Rummanah was Pharaonic.
