Rudston Preparatory School is a private (fee-paying) school situated on Broom Lane, in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England and also a pre-school on Gerard Road. The school is open to ages from 2 to 11 and teaches in all areas and prepares pupils for secondary education as well as SATs exams, although there are plans to scrap SATs in year 6 (the highest year) to enable them to concentrate more on their entrance exams into secondary schools.[1] Many pupils from the school go on to either Mount St Mary's College, Birkdale School or Oakwood College. The current Headmistress is Lynda Sharpe.[2]
