A poor young girl marries a rich man she doesn't love, while carrying a torch for another man.
The film's theme song, "Ruby", was composed by Heinz Eric Roemheld.[2] It has subsequently become a jazz & pop standard, both as an instrumental and with lyrics by Mitchell Parish.
