Rossese is a red Italian wine grape variety[1] that is planted primarily in Liguria. The wines produced from Rossese are a local specialty found around Dolceacqua.[2]
Rossese is also known under the synonyms Bianco di Nizza, Rosese Nero, Rosseis, Rossese di Dolceacqua, Rossese di Ventimiglia, Rossese Nericcio, Rossese Nero, and Rossese Rossa.[1]
Rossese is also a synonym for the white grape variety Vermentino. There also exists a white grape variety Rossese Bianco.
