Rosenery Mello do Nascimento

Rosenery Mello do Nascimento (born 1965[1] - in Rio de Janeiro - died June 4, 2011), best known by the stage name Rosenery Mello, was a Brazilian celebrity and model also known as "Fogueteira do Maracanã"[2][3][4].

She was known by the incident at the football game between the teams of Brazil and Chile (1989) in the Maracanã Stadium [5], in a match valid for the World Cup qualifiers in 1990[6].

In November 1989, she was the cover of men's magazine Playboy.[7]

Rosenery Mello died of brain aneurysm on 4 June 2011, at the age 45, in Rio de Janeiro.[8]
