Ronggui Sub-district (Chinese: 容桂街道) is a sub-district in Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong, China, which is at the southeast of Shunde and a part of Shunde City Zone. It was formed by the merging of Rongqi Town (Chinese: 容奇镇) and Guizhou Town (Chinese: 桂洲镇). It has a resident population of 310,000 with its total area of 80 square kilometres. It is one of the largest production bases of electric appliances in China. Several electric appliance manufacturers, such as Rongsheng, Kelon, Midea, Huabao, Wanjiale, Galanz and Wanhe, are headquartered in Ronggui.[1][2]
Ronggui was named after Rongqi Town and Guizhou Town. Long ago, Rongqi was a small fishing village. Its name was taken from two hills, Rong Hill and Qi Hill.
