Roberto Franchini (born 13 November 1973) is an Australian semi-professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Sydney Bears in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Playing career

Roberto Franchini first played ice hockey for the Sydney Bears of the Australian Ice Hockey League in 2006. During his first season he played 26 games, scoring 14 goals and recording 19 assists.[2] Franchini is currently in his fifth season with the Bears and is currently playing in the 2010 AIHL season where he is one of the two alternate captains.[3][4]

Franchini has also played for the Bears in the New South Wales pre-season tournament, the Wilson Cup. During the 2008 tournament he played five games, scoring one goals and recording nine assists.[5]
