Robert William Chapman (27 December 1866–27 February 1942) was a mathematician and engineer.[1][2]
In 1907, Chapman became the first Professor of Engineering at the University of Adelaide. He then was Professor of Mathematics at Adelaide from 1910 to 1919.
He was from Stony Stratford, Buckinghamshire, England. He studied at the University of Melbourne. He died in Adelaide, 27 February 1942.
