Robert Black is a former head coach of the Sewanee: The University of the South (Sewanee) college football team in Sewanee, Tennessee, between 2007 and 2010. He previously served as the defensive coordinator at Sewanee in addition to coaching at TMI — The Episcopal School of Texas and the Montgomery Bell Academy.[1] Hired as Sewanee's 29th head coach, Black compiled an overall record of four wins and 34 losses during is tenure.[2]
