Robeen is a parish in County Mayo, Ireland with a Church (Our Lady of Sorrows)[1], School (Robeen National School)[2], Creche (Robeen Rascals) and Pub (Trenches). Although the Parish has a parochial house and priest based there, the parish priest is based in the neighbouring parish of Roundfort[3]. There are also some B&B's and Holiday Homes located throughout the Parish. Geographically Robeen is located approximately 3 miles west of Hollymount and 5 miles north of Ballinrobe. The River Robe runs through the parish and Lough Carra is located 2 miles west of the village (Brownstown). The parish also has views of the Partry Mountains and Croagh Patrick.
