Fine arts

RHS is a school which supports its finer arts and programs (examples of the latter including masonry, culinary arts, and HVAC). The fine arts at RHS are among best in Clay County; the Band received a rating of "Superior" at the State Concert Music Performance Assessment from 2006–2008, then again in 2010; it was one of only 26 schools statewide to receive the rating. In addition to its band, the school is home to one of the largest drama troupes in the state of Florida, Troupe 5709. RHS is the only school in its district with 3 teachers for its drama program. they performed in 2007 A Servant of Two Masters, and in 2011 The Importance of Being Earnest on the mainstage at the State Thespian Festival in Tampa, one of only eight plays in the state selected annually. In addition, the school boasts an impressive chorus. The chorus is split into several different groups, distinguished by different titles and lyrical styles.
