Rhytida

Rhytida is a genus of small to medium-large, air-breathing, predatory land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod molluscs in the family Rhytididae.

This is the type genus of the family.

This genus is endemic to New Zealand^[1]

Ecology

Wainuia have eggs with a calcareous surface which lacks cuticle.^[3]
