Renton Technical College (RTC), also known as Renton Tech, is a public two-year institution located in the Renton Highlands of Renton, Washington within the Seattle metropolitan area. The college offers associate degrees and certificates of completion in professional-technical fields.

History

Renton Technical College was founded in 1942 as a war production school during World War II. After the war ended, the institution was converted to a vocational training school until 1991 when it was transformed by state law into a technical college.[1]
