Rentachintala is a mandal in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Rentachintala is well connected both by road and rail. This is very hot place in summer with a temperature range of 42-50 degrees Celsius. In 1948 national highest temp. was recorded here. There is a railway station located at Rentachintala on Nadikudi-Macherla railway.
Rentachintala is famous for education and agriculture.

Rentachintala Mandal contains 11 villages. Including Rentachintala, Manchikallu, Rentala,New Paluvayi,Pasarla Padu,Tumrukota, Jettipalem, Mallavaram, Goli, Mittagudipadu
There is a catholic Church - Kanukamatha Devalayam which is more than 200-year-old and it is the second tallest church in Andhrapradesh. Since this is a very old Church, a new church was built 30 years ago with the same name Kanukamatha Devalayam. The Church feast is on February 2 every year which is called thirunalla/pedha pandaga. It comes after sankranti/pongal season time, the season when the farmers are well off after harvesting.
There is also a Luthern Church, which is very old. It is famous for its big bell which is made up of Kanchu metal in its tower.
Rentachintala also records some of the highest temperatures in the state during summer. The temperature can reach as high as 50 degrees Celsius.
On 24th May 2011, temparature is recorded as 46°C which is highest in this summer.
