Rejuvenation is the fifth album by the funk group The Meters, released in 1974. In 2003, the album was ranked number 138 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.[4]

The front cover displays a couple of records, amongst them the Allen Toussaint's 1972 album Life, Love and Faith.

In popular culture

The song "Africa" was covered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the album Freaky Styley. Throughout the song, the word 'Africa' is changed to 'Hollywood' and 'Mother Land' is changed to 'Brother Land'.

The song "Just Kissed my Baby" is used on the funk radio station in Grand Theft Auto 4 called International Funk.

Chris Duarte covers "Just Kissed My Baby" on Texas Sugar/Strat Magik. He also covers "People Say" live.

Vdelli covers "Just Kissed my Baby" on Out of the Blues.

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band covers "Africa" on Medicated Magic.
