RedLynx Ltd. is a multi-platform Finnish video game developer and publisher based in Helsinki, Finland and founded in 2000. Since its founding in 2000, it has developed and published more than 100 games on many platforms, including Xbox Live Arcade, Nintendo DS, WiiWare, Sony PSP, Apple iPhone, Apple Macintosh, PC, web, and mobile phones.

History

In late 2007, RedLynx released a turn-based strategy game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, called Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command. The game was released for the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS hand-held consoles[1].

On August 4, 2008, the company released Reset Generation. The game is cross-platform, designed to run on both N-Gage handsets and PCs.[2] Soundtrack for the game was provided by 8 Bit Weapon.[3]

The company is best known for the Trials HD downloadable game, released for the Xbox Live in 2009 and which achieved a million sales in November, 2010.

The company was acquired by Ubisoft in November 2011.[4]
