Red Carpet Diary is an entertainment news feature covering the films, red carpet events and celebrity scene at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The video, audio, and photo content is released daily through the duration of the festival on television, radio, online, and mobile apps around the world. Among the media carrying Red Carpet Diary TIFF coverage are Yahoo.com, HollywoodReporter.com[1], TorontoLife.com, FashionMagazine.com, HelloMagazine.com, theStar.com, Hollyscoop.com, FashionTelevision, CP24, CMT Canada and iTunes[2].

Red Carpet Diary began as an internationally syndicated radio feature and had its first broadcast on September 10, 2005. In 2007, Red Carpet Diary expanded to video. Red Carpet Diary now runs one of the largest press operations at TIFF.

The Red Carpet Diary segments are between two and five minutes in length, with each piece focusing on one film playing at the festival. Stars, directors, and writers are interviewed on the red carpet at the film premieres and longer form interviews are conducted in studio. Every day Red Carpet Diary releases content to sites and blogs all over the world (like MeFeedia[3] and BlogTO[4]) making coverage available within hours of the premieres.

Hosts of Red Carpet Diary have included Mary Kitchen, Joan Kelley, Cheryl Brown, Nalini Sharma and Travis Dhanraj. Contributing photographers include Korby Banner and James Helmer. In 2010, Susie Kent, veteran of Canadian entertainment programming (ET Canada, CityTV) was appointed Executive Producer of the program.
