Re-Coversionalize, is an album by Rapper Curren$y and the producer The Alchemist. Re-Coversionalize, is their second album together, and the sequel to Covert Coup, their first album together. The album will come out on April 20, 2012, according to The Alchemist's Twitter. Covert Coup, came out on April 20, 2011, exactly a year before Re-Coversionalize.
Curren$y first talked about the option of having another album with The Alchemist in "Splash Magazine".[1][2] He said: "We’ve got more records done, but not albums. I got like two or three other songs by this guy that we haven’t put out. We’re just going to stack ‘em up. We’re probably going to do another Covert Coup if the world needs it.” On October 6, 2011, The Alchemist twitted this message in his Twitter: "@CurrenSy_Spitta 4.20.12 . Re-Coversionalize".
